Responsibility
- Lead and oversee the planning, design, and execution of complex quantum experiments across cryogenic platforms and photonic systems.
- Develop and implement experimental protocols, acquire and analyze datasets, and troubleshoot measurement challenges.
- Collaborate with theorists and engineers to translate theoretical models into testable experiments.
- Mentor graduate students, postdocs, and junior scientists; supervise lab personnel and ensure safe, compliant operations.
- Publish results in high-impact journals; present at international conferences; contribute to grant proposals.
- Drive innovation by exploring new materials, devices, and measurement techniques; manage IP and patent consideration.
- Manage project milestones, budgets, and collaborations with industry partners.
Qualification
- PhD in Physics, Quantum Information, Materials Science, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 5 years of post-PhD research experience with a proven publication record in quantum physics.
- Strong experimental skills in cryogenics, condensed matter physics, or photonic quantum systems.
- Experience with data analysis using Python, MATLAB, or Julia; proficiency with lab instrumentation and control software.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; experience with grant writing and reporting.
- Experience mentoring students and leading research projects; commitment to safety and compliance.
