Responsibility
- Lead the design, execution, and management of health data studies, including cohort and interventional research.
- Develop and implement robust statistical analyses using R, Python, SAS, and SQL.
- Collaborate with faculty, clinicians, and biostatisticians to translate data into actionable insights.
- Oversee data governance, IRB approvals, data sharing agreements, and reproducible research practices.
- Prepare manuscripts, grant proposals, and present findings at conferences.
- Mentor graduate students and research staff; manage project timelines and budgets.
- Contribute to methodological innovations and ensure compliance with research ethics and data protection standards.
Qualification
- PhD in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of post-PhD research experience with health data analyses.
- Proficiency in R and Python; experience with SAS and SQL is a plus.
- Strong publication record and demonstrated grant-writing ability.
- Experience with IRB processes, data governance, and ethical research practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Project management experience; leadership and mentoring abilities.
