BioNova Therapeutics is seeking a dynamic Senior Research Scientist to join our cross-disciplinary team focused on developing transformative biologics. This role blends hands-on laboratory execution with strategic project leadership in a fast-paced biotech environment.
You will design and execute experiments, mentor junior scientists, and contribute to the scientific strategy that accelerates product development from discovery through preclinical stages.
Responsibility
- Lead and perform advanced assays in molecular biology, cell culture, and analytical characterization.
- Design, execute, and interpret experiments to support drug discovery and development programs.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor and train junior scientists; provide technical guidance and documentation.
- Develop and optimize SOPs, improve laboratory workflows, and ensure compliance with GMP/GLP standards.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through technical reports and presentations.
Qualification
- PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field; or a Master's with extensive industry experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in biotech R&D, with a track record of successful project contributions.
- Proficiency in cell culture, qPCR, ELISA, Western blot, and other biotech assays.
- Strong data analysis skills, experience with statistical software and data visualization; familiarity with LIMS is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to write clear technical reports and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Experience with GMP/GLP environments and good laboratory practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a collaborative team.
