Join Aegis Risk Solutions as a Senior Risk Manager and influence risk strategy across enterprise-wide functions. In this NYC-based role, you will partner with risk, finance, compliance and technology teams to design, implement and monitor robust risk controls and governance processes. Responsibility
- Lead the design and execution of the enterprise risk management framework including risk taxonomy, appetite, and risk registers.
- Coordinate stress testing, scenario analysis, and forward-looking risk assessments across credit, market, and operational risk domains.
- Develop and monitor governance structure, policy documentation, issue tracking, and remediation plans.
- Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and IT to ensure alignment with Basel III, regulatory expectations, and internal controls.
- Deliver leadership-level risk reporting, dashboards, and executive briefings for risk committees and C-suite.
- Mentor and coach junior risk professionals, building a high-performing risk team culture.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, risk management, or related field; advanced degree or professional risk designation preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in risk management within financial services or a similar regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of risk frameworks (ERM, Basel III/IV), risk governance, and regulatory reporting.
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights using SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Hands-on experience with stress testing, scenario analysis, and risk modeling; proficient in Python or R is a plus.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills; ability to influence at the executive level.
- Strong ethics and a proactive, results-driven mindset with attention to detail.
