Responsibility
- Lead design and execution of preclinical experiments for gene therapy programs, including in vitro and in vivo assays.
- Develop and optimize analytical assays (qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry) to support program milestones.
- Design experimental strategies, analyze data, and generate robust conclusions for internal decisions and external collaborations.
- Collaborate with translational biology, toxicology, and manufacturing teams to de-risk candidates.
- Supervise and train junior scientists, maintain detailed documentation, and ensure compliance with GLP/GMP practices as applicable.
- Publish findings in internal reports and contribute to external publications and presentations.
Qualification
- PhD in life sciences or related field, or MS with 5+ years industry experience in biotechnology.
- Strong expertise in cell culture, molecular biology, and assay development (qPCR, ELISA, ddPCR).
- Experience with data analysis using Python or R, and familiarity with statistical methods.
- Hands on experience with GMP/GLP environments and good documentation practices.
- Proven track record of successful project contributions in gene therapy, oncology, or regenerative medicine.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross functionally in a fast paced setting.
