NovaBio Therapeutics is expanding its core R&D team and seeks a results‑driven Senior Scientist to lead biotechnology programs in therapeutics discovery and development. The ideal candidate will combine hands‑on laboratory expertise with strategic thinking to translate cutting‑edge biology into scalable, impact‑driven solutions.

Responsibility
- Lead end‑to‑end experimental design for molecular and cellular biology studies in therapeutic programs.
- Develop and optimize assays (qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry) and contribute to assay validation plans.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior scientists; supervise lab operations, safety, and compliance.
- Collaborate with translational biology, pharmacology, and manufacturing teams to translate findings into project milestones.
- Analyze data using statistical tools, generate comprehensive reports, and present results to senior management.
- Ensure rigorous documentation in electronic lab notebooks (ELN) and contribute to SOP development and CAPA processes.
- Contribute to protein expression/purification workflows and assist with mechanism‑of‑action studies when needed.
Qualification
- PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related field; or MS with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- 5+ years in biotech/biopharma R&D with hands‑on experience in cell culture and molecular assays.
- Proficiency in CRISPR/Cas9, protein expression/purification, qPCR, ELISA, and flow cytometry.
- Strong data‑driven decision‑making skills; experience with statistics (GraphPad Prism, R) and data visualization.
- Experience leading small teams, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP environments and lab safety best practices.
- track record of publications or patents is a plus.
