In this role you will apply expertise in molecular biology and biotechnology to design and execute experiments, interpret data, and contribute to published findings. Responsibility
- Lead the design, execution, and optimization of experiments in molecular biology, cell culture, and related assays.
- Oversee in vitro and ex vivo studies, ensuring reproducibility and high-quality data.
- Develop and validate protocols, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements.
- Analyze complex datasets, synthesize insights, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, and manufacturing to ensure alignment with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Mentor and develop junior scientists, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Prepare technical reports, contribute to publications, and support regulatory submissions as needed.
Qualification
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field; or MS with 5+ years industry experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on biotechnology lab experience with a track record of project contributions.
- Proficiency in cell culture, aseptic technique, PCR/qPCR, cloning, and standard biochemical assays.
- Experience with gene therapy or cellular therapy platforms is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of GMP/GLP principles and documentation practices.
- Strong data analysis skills using Python, R, or equivalent tools; ability to visualize and communicate results clearly.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.
