Responsibility
- Lead design and execution of advanced cell biology experiments to explore therapeutic targets.
- Develop and optimize assays (CRISPR-based screens, ELISA, qPCR, Western blot) to quantify outcomes.
- Interpret data, present findings to cross-functional teams, and contribute to publication planning.
- Mentor junior scientists and manage small project teams to meet milestones.
- Collaborate with translational teams to assess efficacy and safety metrics.
- Document experimental procedures and maintain rigorous data integrity in LIMS.
- Contribute to strategic planning for pipeline programs and experimental timelines.
Qualification
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field; or MS with 6+ years of industry experience.
- Proven expertise in cell culture, molecular assays, and data-driven decision making.
- Strong track record in project leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with CRISPR, high-throughput screening, or proteomics is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis with Excel, GraphPad Prism, R, or Python; ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills and scientific writing ability for reports and publications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment in Cambridge, MA.
