We are seeking a Senior Scientist to lead genomics and bioinformatics initiatives that translate complex data into actionable biology.
In this role you will own end-to-end analyses from experimental design to interpretation and communication of results to cross-functional teams. You will contribute to pipeline development, collaborate across biology, clinical, and data science, and mentor junior scientists to drive scientific and career growth.

Responsibility
- Design and execute genomics experiments including NGS library preparation, sequencing, QC, and data interpretation.
- Develop and apply bioinformatics workflows for RNA-seq, whole-genome/exome sequencing, methylation, and variant discovery.
- Collaborate with biology, clinical, and data science teams to translate findings into actionable hypotheses and project plans.
- Mentor and supervise junior scientists, manage project timelines, and ensure rigor in data collection and analysis.
- Maintain high-quality documentation in electronic lab notebooks and ensure compliance with GLP/GMP where applicable.
- Evaluate emerging genomic technologies and integrate them into ongoing programs; contribute to grant proposals and IP strategy.
- Present findings to internal stakeholders and prepare data-driven manuscripts or regulatory submissions as needed.
Qualification
- PhD in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field; or MS with 5+ years of hands-on industry experience.
- 3+ years of industry experience in genomics data generation and analysis (NGS preferred).
- Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis, Linux environment, Git; experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong experimental design, statistical reasoning, and data interpretation skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRISPR, molecular biology techniques, and cell culture; familiarity with GMP/GLP is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
- Track record of publications, presentations, or grant support is desirable.
