We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Genomics & Translational Research team in Boston, MA. You will lead design and execution of complex experiments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of scalable research workflows that advance our pipeline from discovery to preclinical stages.

Responsibility
- Lead planning and execution of genomics experiments, including sequencing, analysis, and integration with phenotypic data.
- Develop and optimize assay workflows, including sample preparation, library preparation, sequencing, and data analysis pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Biology, Proteomics, Bioinformatics, and Clinical) to drive translational assessments.
- Analyze complex datasets, interpret results, and present findings to leadership; generate reports and data visualizations.
- Mentor and train junior scientists; oversee day-to-day activities in the genomics lab.
- Ensure compliance with lab safety, GLP/GMP standards as appropriate; maintain accurate documentation and SOPs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement scalable, robust workflows.
- Contribute to drafting of grant proposals and internal milestones; support technology transfer activities.
Qualification
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or a related field; or an MS with extensive industry experience.
- 5+ years in biotech or pharmaceutical translational research with a strong track record.
- Expertise in genomics technologies (RNA-seq, DNA sequencing), CRISPR-based screens, qPCR, and associated assays.
- Proficient data analysis skills in R and/or Python; experience with bioinformatics pipelines and data visualization.
- Hands-on experience with cell culture, protein analysis, and assay development; familiarity with GMP/GLP is preferred.
- Strong project management and mentorship capabilities; proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; track record of collaboration and impact on programs.
- Publications and/or patent activity in relevant fields are a plus.
