Responsibility
- Design, execute, and optimize novel molecular biology protocols targeting gene editing and synthetic biology.
- Lead multifaceted research projects from conceptualization to publication and patent submission.
- Mentor and supervise junior scientists and research associates in laboratory best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with bioinformatics, analytical, and process development teams.
- Maintain comprehensive experimental documentation and contribute to regulatory submissions.
- Communicate complex data insights effectively to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Drive innovation by staying abreast of emerging scientific literature and technologies.
- Present findings at scientific conferences and represent Genova Biotech in professional forums.
Qualification
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical R&D setting.
- Expertise in CRISPR/Cas9, next-generation sequencing, and gene expression analysis.
- Strong proficiency in designing and executing complex experiments independently.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities with effective communication skills.
- Track record of scientific publications and/or patent contributions.
- Hands-on experience with automation and high-throughput screening is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
