Join NovaLink Global as a Senior Supply Chain Manager in Chicago, IL. You will lead end-to-end supply chain operations, optimize inventory, drive cost reductions, and collaborate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to support scalable growth.
This role demands a strategic mindset, hands-on execution, and a proven track record of elevating service levels while reducing total landed costs. You will mentor a growing team and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to turn data into actionable improvements.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including demand planning, inventory optimization, procurement collaboration, and international logistics.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce total cost of ownership and improve service levels across regions.
- Partner with manufacturing, procurement, and third-party logistics providers to align forecast accuracy and lead times.
- Drive demand planning processes, S&OP cycles, and KPI dashboards to inform leadership decisions.
- Build and mentor a high-performing SCM team; foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement and optimize ERP and supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite) and data analytics to enable real-time decision making.
- Manage supplier risk, lead times, capacity planning, and contingency plans to ensure resilience.
- Own key metrics such as inventory turns, fill rate, OTIF, and total landed cost.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, logistics, or related field; MBA or MS in SCM preferred.
- 7+ years in supply chain management with hands-on experience in planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory optimization.
- Proven track record leading S&OP processes and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Lean or continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated project management ability.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities; located in or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL.
