We are seeking a Senior Surveyor who combines field expertise with strong project leadership to drive accurate surveys, data integrity, and client satisfaction across complex site projects.
In this role, you will lead field crews, supervise data collection, perform analysis, and ensure QA/QC standards while collaborating with civil engineers, architects, and GIS teams.

Responsibility
- Lead and supervise field surveys (boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic) and coordinate with project teams.
- Plan survey data collection, instrument setup, measurement procedures, and safety protocols.
- Perform calculations, traverse closures, leveling, and coordinate adjustments to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare accurate plats, sketch plans, and as-built drawings for clients and permitting agencies.
- Manage QA/QC of field data, ensuring proper data management and transfer to CAD/GIS systems.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet project milestones and budgets.
- Mentor junior staff and technicians; provide training on equipment, software, and best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of surveying experience with demonstrated project ownership.
- Professional Surveyor (PS) license or ability to obtain licensure within 12-24 months (preferred).
- Proficiency with GNSS, total stations, level, and robotic instruments.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and GIS software.
- Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions, plats, and construction plans.
- Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management; willingness to travel.
