You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tax reporting, optimize liabilities, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and international tax laws. Responsibility
- Lead and manage corporate tax filings across federal, state, and local jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns and estimated payments for multiple entities.
- Calculate and review quarterly and annual tax provisions (ASC 740) and effective tax rate analyses.
- Conduct tax research on complex issues, assess tax implications of new business initiatives, and advise on structuring.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation, updates, and support for audits.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Legal, and Operations to optimize tax efficiency and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws.
- Support tax audits, responses, and liaison with tax authorities as needed.
- Develop and mentor junior staff; identify opportunities to automate processes and improve data analytics.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant corporate tax experience in a large, multi-jurisdiction environment.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740, GAAP, and tax provision processes.
- Proficiency with tax software (e.g., Corptax, OneSource) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with transfer pricing, tax planning strategies, and controversy management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. tax compliance experience across federal, state, and local filings.
