You will craft sophisticated tax strategies for multinational corporations, private equity-backed entities, and high-net-worth individuals, balancing compliance with proactive planning. Responsibility
- Lead and manage complex tax planning engagements for corporate, partnership, and international tax clients.
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns and extensions in compliance with tax laws.
- Provide guidance on transfer pricing, BEPS, and cross-border tax issues for multinational clients.
- Advise on tax efficiency, incentives, credits, and the integration of tax considerations with financial systems.
- Collaborate with advisory teams on M&A tax structuring, due diligence, and post-transaction integration.
- Support clients during IRS examinations and respond to tax notices with clear, actionable strategies.
- Develop client-ready analyses and presentations; present complex topics to senior leaders and boards.
- Mentor and develop junior staff; contribute to business development and client relationship management.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field; CPA preferred or active CPA candidate.
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or in-house tax roles; strong U.S. federal and state tax knowledge; international tax experience a plus.
- Proven expertise in transfer pricing, tax provisioning, compliance, and tax controversy/IRS matters.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities; proficient with tax software (Workday, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex tax concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, client-focused, and able to manage multiple engagements with competing deadlines.
