GlobalBridge Localization is seeking a talented Senior Translator (English to French) to join our London team. You will translate high‑quality, culturally relevant content across a diverse range of industries, and contribute to our glossaries and style guides to ensure consistency.

Responsibility
- Translate and proofread English‑to‑French content across marketing, technical, legal, and multimedia materials while preserving tone, style, and brand voice.
- Collaborate with project managers, editors, and clients to understand requirements and deliver on time.
- Manage terminology and maintain up‑to‑date glossaries using CAT tools.
- Perform quality assurance checks, including style and consistency reviews, and perform MTPE where appropriate.
- Mentor junior translators and provide constructive feedback to uphold quality standards.
- Adhere to project budgets and timelines, flagging risks and proposing mitigation.
- Contribute to localization best practices and stay current on industry trends.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Native-level fluency in French; professional proficiency in English (C1+).
- 5+ years of translation/localization experience, with EN→FR specialization.
- Proficiency with CAT tools (SDL Trados, memoQ, or similar) and terminology management systems.
- Strong proofreading, editing, and QA skills; attention to detail and consistent quality standards.
- Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and clients.
- Experience with localization processes and familiarity with MTPE workflows is a plus.
