Join Lumina Studio, a premium product design studio focused on delightful, accessible experiences. We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead end to end design for web and mobile apps, from discovery to polished interfaces. You will collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to translate user insights into intuitive experiences.
Responsibilities include leading design strategy, creating user flows, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes; maintaining design systems; contributing to user research plans; ensuring accessibility and inclusive design; mentoring junior designers; and advocating for the user throughout the product lifecycle.
What we look for: a strong portfolio showing end to end product design, proficiency with Figma or similar tools, solid understanding of information architecture and interaction design, knowledge of front end constraints, and excellent communication skills. Experience with design systems and accessibility standards is a plus.
Responsibility
- Define and own the product UI/UX strategy for web and mobile platforms.
- Lead user research synthesis, create user journeys, personas, and task analysis.
- Design wireframes, flows, and high fidelity interfaces and interactive prototypes.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to ship polished experiences.
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system and style guidelines.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design across products.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to design reviews.
- Continuously measure usability and iterate based on data and feedback.
Qualification
- 5+ years in UI/UX design for digital products, with a strong portfolio.
- Expertise in UI design, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Proficient in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools; knowledge of prototyping workflows.
- Experience delivering across large, cross functional teams and shipping entire product features.
- Fundamental understanding of front end development constraints and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to articulate design decisions.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking; comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related field is preferred.
