Job description
NovaPixel Labs is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our Berlin studio. You will craft delightful, user-first experiences for SaaS and consumer products. This role blends product thinking with hands-on design across web and mobile interfaces.
As a core member of our design team, you will collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to shape product strategy and drive measurable impact through thoughtful design.
Responsibility
- Drive end-to-end UI/UX design for web and mobile platforms from discovery to delivery
- Collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams to translate user needs into intuitive interfaces and flows
- Create and maintain a scalable design system, components, and guidelines to ensure consistency
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations; translate insights into actionable changes
- Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals using Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring WCAG compliance
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
Qualification
- 4+ years of UI/UX design experience in tech products, with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Figma and at least one additional design tool (Sketch, Adobe XD, or Framer)
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries
- Strong knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and translating feedback into design decisions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management; fluency in English; German a plus
- BA/BS in Design, HCI, or related field
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design
