Luminary Film & Media is seeking a Senior Video Producer to lead high-impact film and video productions from concept through delivery. Based in Los Angeles, this role blends creative leadership with rigorous project management to produce compelling visuals for brands, studios, and independent projects.

As a senior contributor, you will orchestrate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships, and ensure top-tier production quality while meeting tight deadlines. Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end production planning from concept to delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
  • Develop and manage production calendars, shot lists, and creative briefs in collaboration with directors and creatives.
  • Oversee on-set activities, directing production teams, camera teams, lighting crews, and sound engineers.
  • Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and procurement to optimize resources without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate post-production workflows with editors, colorists, sound designers, and VFX teams to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and risk management on set, including permits and insurance as required.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure creative alignment and timely approvals.

Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in film or video production with leadership on multi-day shoots.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships across complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of production and post-production processes, including Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, and basic color and sound workflows.
  • Excellent on-set leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Portfolio of recent work that demonstrates storytelling, pacing, and production excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed and work non-traditional hours to accommodate shoots.
