Join Crescent Peak Studios, a premier film and video production company in Los Angeles. We are seeking a proactive Video Producer to oversee end-to-end production for commercials, branded content, and indie projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, permits, locations, crew, equipment, and post-production coordination to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality productions.
Responsibility
- Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end film and video productions from concept through delivery, ensuring creative alignment and on-time execution.
- Develop and manage production budgets, schedules, and resource allocation; track costs and provide regular status reports.
- Source, hire, and manage crews, vendors, talent, and equipment; negotiate rates and contracts.
- Coordinate locations, permits, insurance, safety protocols, and logistical arrangements for shoots.
- Collaborate with creative directors, DP, editors, and clients to refine concepts and deliver compelling content.
- Oversee post-production handoff, review dailies, and ensure deliverables meet technical specs and client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety guidelines, and company policies; anticipate and mitigate risks.
- Maintain production documentation, calendars, and reporting metrics; continuously seek process improvements.
Qualification
- 3-5 years of hands-on production experience in film, commercial, or branded content; agency or studio background preferred.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills; experience with crews, locations, and equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of permits, location scouting, insurance, and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with creative teams and clients.
- Proficiency with project management and production software (e.g., StudioBinder, Frame.io, Shotgun) and video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the region and adapt to varying production schedules.
