As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will shape and execute comprehensive SEO plans, perform in-depth keyword research, analyze competitive landscapes, and translate insights into actionable opportunities. You will oversee both on-page and technical SEO, including metadata optimization, schema markup, site architecture improvements, internal linking, and content optimization. You will lead technical SEO audits, monitor site performance, and coordinate with engineers to resolve crawlability, indexing, and site speed issues. You will manage reporting dashboards using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other tools, delivering regular updates to stakeholders. Collaborating with the content team, product, and marketing, you will develop SEO-friendly content strategies and editorial calendars. You will also plan and execute ethical link-building campaigns and outreach efforts to strengthen domain authority. This is a growth-focused role where you will mentor teammates and help scale SEO programs across multiple markets.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and conversions across assigned brands and websites.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and opportunity mapping to inform content planning and optimization efforts.
- Lead on-page SEO optimization including meta tags, headers, internal linking, and content enhancements to maximize relevance and search visibility.
- Oversee technical SEO audits and collaborate with engineering to improve crawlability, site speed, mobile usability, and indexing.
- Monitor and report on key SEO metrics using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools; provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with content, product, and marketing teams to develop SEO-friendly content strategies and editorial calendars.
- Plan and execute ethical link-building campaigns, outreach, and relationship-building to strengthen domain authority.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of proven SEO experience with a track record of improving search rankings and organic traffic.
- Deep knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog) and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong technical SEO skills: site architecture, schema markup, structured data, canonicalization, and crawlability.
- Excellent analytical abilities with the capacity to translate data into actionable strategies and reporting.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects with strong communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with content strategy and collaboration with editors and developers; ability to guide SEO-friendly content.
- Knowledge of local market dynamics and experience optimizing for localized search; additional languages a plus.
