You will maintain and repair industrial sewing machines, troubleshoot magnetic and electrical faults, and ensure minimal downtime to support high quality output for our electric bikes. Responsibility
- Maintain and repair industrial sewing machines used in production to minimize downtime and ensure consistent stitch quality.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replace worn parts, and perform timely repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance schedules and calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Setup sewing machines for different fabrics, patterns, and stitching requirements; optimize speed and tension.
- Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications; document defects and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with operators and supervisors to schedule maintenance with minimal impact on production.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
Qualification
- Technical diploma or relevant certification in machine maintenance or textile technology; hands-on sewing machine experience is essential.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience servicing industrial sewing machines (lockstitch, overlock, zigzag) in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, threads, needles, and sewing accessories; ability to select the right components for different materials.
- Proficient in reading simple technical manuals and schematics; excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work under pressure to meet production deadlines.
- Safe and reliable, with adherence to workplace safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Willingness to work in Clark Freeport Zone and flexibility to support overtime as needed.
