Responsibility
- Lead and supervise production lines for the assigned shift, ensuring optimal manpower and machine allocation to achieve daily output targets.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and materials teams to minimize downtime and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Monitor line performance, collect and analyze data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and first-pass yield.
- Manage shift staffing, training, coaching, and performance feedback for frontline supervisors and operators.
- Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and 5S housekeeping standards to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Troubleshoot production issues, implement countermeasures, and escalate critical problems to relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Lead shift handovers, communicate status updates, and ensure clear documentation of line status and action items.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement projects and cost reduction initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing with a proven track record as a shift leader or supervisor.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams across production lines.
- Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, quality control, and process optimization.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance; knowledge of local safety standards and practices.
