Sun Battledore is seeking a proactive Store Supervisor for our SM Ecoland location in Davao City. This full-time leadership role oversees daily store operations, ensures accurate cashiering, and maintains robust inventory control to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on supervision with strategic oversight, coaching team members, and driving sales through excellent service, meticulous merchandising, and efficient back-end processes.
As a Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming shopping environment, supervising cashiers, coordinating stock replenishment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. You will collaborate with store leadership to meet performance targets, optimize labor scheduling, and implement loss-prevention practices. Responsibility
- Lead daily store operations, ensuring accurate cashiering, POS transactions, and exceptional customer service.
- Supervise a team of sales associates, assign tasks, mentor performance, and conduct regular coaching sessions.
- Oversee inventory management including receiving shipments, stock replenishment, cycle counts, and shrinkage control.
- Maintain merchandising standards, floor presentation, signage accuracy, and cleanliness to maximize sales.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and loss-prevention procedures.
- Handle customer escalations with professionalism, resolve issues, and build lasting customer relationships.
- Assist with scheduling, labor optimization, and store analytics to drive performance and profitability.
Qualification
- 2+ years of retail supervisory or store management experience.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in cashiering, POS systems, and basic numeric tasks.
- Experience in inventory control, stock management, and shrinkage reduction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
