Foodie Business Indonesia is seeking a Strategic Consultant to bolster the planning and execution of the Directorate of Strategic Affairs' events and initiatives. This role is ideal for a proactive communicator with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving strategic initiatives in the vibrant Jakarta market.
As a Strategic Consultant, you will partner across departments to design, plan, and deliver high-impact events and campaigns that align with our business goals. You will translate market insights into actionable strategies, support media relations, and ensure seamless execution from concept to post-event analysis.
Key responsibilities include developing event briefs, managing stakeholders, and supporting budgeting and scheduling. You will also produce data-driven reports to measure success and inform future initiatives. A bachelor's degree in Journalism, Statistics, or related fields is preferred, with a minimum 1-3 years of experience in events, communications, or marketing.
Responsibility
- Plan, coordinate, and execute strategic events and activities for the Directorate of Strategic Affairs
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop compelling event concepts, briefs, and agendas
- Manage event logistics, timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure on-time delivery
- Prepare post-event analysis, performance metrics, and actionable insights to inform strategic initiatives
- Develop communications materials, briefings, and content to support strategic campaigns and media relations
- Conduct market research and data analysis to provide insights for strategic planning
- Support cross-functional projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Statistics, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in events, communications, marketing, or a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication in Indonesian and English
- Proficiency in MS Office, data visualization, and analytics tools; ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven stakeholder management and collaboration skills; comfortable working across departments
- Familiarity with Indonesian market dynamics, media landscape, and social media tools
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of working under tight deadlines
