Hartalega is actively seeking a results driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead our operations in Selangor. Responsibility
- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Enforce safety policies, PPE usage, and incident reporting; conduct toolbox talks and ongoing safety coaching for the team.
- Manage and develop a frontline warehouse team; assign tasks, monitor performance, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and process improvements to minimize discrepancies.
- Oversee equipment and asset safety; ensure forklift and other material handling equipment are operated by trained personnel and maintained properly.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics to plan and execute schedules; optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using 5S, Lean, and other waste reduction methodologies; monitor KPIs such as cycle time, accuracy, and throughput.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations; maintain accurate records and produce management reports.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of warehouse supervision or team leadership experience in a distribution environment.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP; strong data accuracy and reporting skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, PPE requirements, and incident reporting; commitment to a safe workplace.
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced production and distribution environment; strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic forklift operation knowledge or certification is a plus; willingness to obtain as required.
- Proficiency in English; Malay language skills are advantageous.
