ST Engineering Aerospace is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supplies Executive to join our procurement and materials management team in Singapore. This role supports aerospace manufacturing operations by ensuring the right parts, spares, and materials are available on time, at optimal cost, and in full compliance with quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will contribute to a stable and scalable supply chain that keeps production flowing and customer commitments on track.
As a key member of our sourcing and logistics function, you will manage end-to-end procurement activities, maintain accurate inventory levels, and coordinate with suppliers to secure on-time delivery of high-quality components. You will collaborate with production planners, engineers, and internal customers to forecast demand, maintain bill of materials, and drive improvements in supplier performance. Responsibility
- Coordinate day-to-day procurement activities for spare parts, materials, and components used in aerospace production.
- Manage inventory levels, perform cycle counts, monitor reorder points, and minimize stockouts or overstock.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and accurate documentation.
- Process purchase orders, confirmations, and supplier invoices; track delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies.
- Support material planning, demand forecasting, and maintenance of bill of materials (BOM).
- Monitor supplier performance metrics, identify risk, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, quality standards, and HS&E policies across procurement activities.
- Contribute to cost-saving efforts, supplier negotiations, and value engineering opportunities where appropriate.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, procurement, engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement or materials management, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and MS Office; familiarity with BOM management.
- Knowledge of import/export processes, incoterms, and regulatory compliance in Singapore.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be proactive, and deliver results with a service mindset.
