Responsibility
- Own end-to-end order processing, including entry, monitoring, expediting, and follow-up to ensure on-time delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and providing proactive status updates to resolve issues swiftly.
- Coordinate purchasing activities, create purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and negotiate favorable terms with vendors.
- Develop and maintain production and material plans in collaboration with production teams to meet service levels.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform regular cycle counts, and coordinate with warehousing for accurate stock records.
- Collaborate with logistics and distribution teams to optimize shipping routes, lead times, and cost-to-serve.
- Analyze supply chain data, track KPIs (OTIF, fill rate, order cycle time), and implement process improvements.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, customer service, purchasing, or planning roles.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time-management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Fluent in English; Malay language skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of inventory management, vendor management, and logistics operations.
