Private Advertiser is seeking a results oriented Supply Chain Manager to lead our Contract Manufacturing CM operations across Southern Asia from Malaysia. This is a strategic leadership role that combines end-to-end supply chain oversight with hands on execution to ensure reliable product availability, cost efficiency, and scalable capabilities as the business grows.
You will partner with procurement, manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics teams to design and deliver robust supply chain processes that support rapid growth, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with practical leadership, capable of translating complex data into actionable plans, negotiating favorable supplier terms, and driving continuous improvement across the network.
In this role you will own demand planning, inventory optimization, supplier performance, and risk management for CM operations in Asia, ensuring on-time delivery, optimal working capital, and strong cross functional collaboration. You will lead regional initiatives to implement ERP systems, improve forecasting accuracy, and standardize standard operating procedures across sites. Responsibility
- Develop and own the regional supply chain strategy for contract manufacturing networks across Asia, aligning with business goals and customer expectations.
- Lead demand planning and S&OP processes to balance supply and demand while optimizing inventory and working capital.
- Establish and monitor supplier performance metrics, drive negotiations, and manage key supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness.
- Oversee end-to-end logistics, distribution, and import/export controls to ensure timely product availability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and optimize ERP/SAP and other planning tools; drive process standardization and data-driven decision making across sites.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and cycle time improvements within CM operations.
- Lead cross-functional teams across procurement, manufacturing, quality, and logistics to mitigate risk and respond to supply disruptions.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in manufacturing or contract manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in S&OP, demand planning, MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred), and data analytics.
- Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers, manage complex vendor ecosystems, and drive cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Strong leadership and change management skills; excellent communication and stakeholder management across multicultural teams.
- Ability to travel as needed within Asia and adapt to a dynamic regional network.
