Job description
Join adidas as a Supply Chain Manager (Operations) in Manila and lead the 3PL distribution center inbound and outbound teams to consistently meet and exceed daily customer demands. This role drives end-to-end supply chain performance across inbound, storage, order fulfillment, and outbound shipments, with a strong emphasis on speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency. You will partner with adidas 3PL providers and internal stakeholders to optimize processes, implement standard operating procedures, and deliver measurable improvements in service levels and inventory control.
As the owner of the DC operations in partnership with external partners, you will champion demand planning collaboration, inventory visibility, and cycle counting while ensuring compliance with adidas quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, coach a high-performing team, and influence cross-functional teams to align with business goals. Responsibility
- Lead and manage the 3PL distribution center inbound and outbound teams to meet daily customer demands and service levels.
- Collaborate with internal partners (Sales, Procurement, Finance) and external 3PLs to design and execute end-to-end supply chain plans, including demand planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Drive continuous improvement by standardizing processes, implementing SOPs, and leading Lean/Kanban initiatives to reduce cycle times and increase accuracy.
- Monitor and report on key KPIs (OTIF, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, cost per shipment, carrier performance) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Optimize inbound receiving, put-away, outbound loading, accuracy in picking/packing, and reverse logistics to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
- Own inventory governance, cycle counts, and reconciliation across the DC to minimize write-offs and avoid stockouts.
- Manage budget, headcount planning, and vendor relationships; ensure compliance with adidas quality, safety, and security standards.
- Lead a high-performing logistics team, coach talent, and drive cross-functional collaboration across regional and global teams.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain/logistics, with exposure to 3PL management and DC operations; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP (SAP or Oracle), and transportation management.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements; proficient in Excel and data visualization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Project management experience and track record of implementing process improvements and cost optimization.
- Fluency in English; willingness to work in Manila and adapt to regional/global coordination.
