Job description

CCK Group is seeking a dedicated Technician to join our manufacturing and logistics operations in Kuching, Sarawak. As a Technician, you will perform routine checks on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, assist with preventive maintenance, and participate in basic repairs. Responsibility

  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and minor repairs of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Inspect, test, and calibrate machinery; document maintenance actions and report anomalies promptly.
  • Support production lines by rapidly diagnosing issues and restoring operational status.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality guidelines at all times.
  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to implement process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and use tools and instrumentation safely and responsibly.

Qualification

  • Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance, installation, or repair within manufacturing or logistics environments.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems; ability to read schematics/blueprints.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools (multimeter, calipers) and a foundational understanding of PLCs is a plus.
  • Troubleshooting mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow instructions and work with production teams.
