Responsibility
- Lead engaging walking tours of Seattle's downtown, waterfront, and select neighborhoods for diverse groups
- Provide accurate, engaging commentary on history, culture, architecture, and local stories
- Manage tour logistics, safety, pacing, and guest needs to ensure a smooth experience
- Answer questions, resolve issues, and uphold exceptional guest service standards
- Collaborate with operations team to coordinate schedules, routes, and equipment
- Collect feedback and identify opportunities to upsell specialty or private tours
Qualification
- Excellent public speaking and storytelling with a warm, professional presence
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
- Previous tour guiding, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Seattle history, neighborhoods, transit, and safety procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities
- Valid work authorization; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
