As a Tour Guide, you will lead engaging walking tours, share history, culture, and legends, ensure guest safety, and create memorable experiences that bring people back for more.
Responsibility
- Lead engaging walking tours for groups of varying sizes across neighborhoods and landmarks
- Deliver accurate historical narratives and contemporary context suitable for all ages
- Adapt content to diverse audiences including families, students, and international visitors
- Maintain guest safety and cadence, manage crowd flow and time for scheduled itineraries
- Build rapport with guests, respond to questions, and enhance guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with operations teams to confirm itineraries and address booking changes
- Collect feedback and contribute to tour content updates for accuracy and freshness
Qualification
- Excellent public speaking and storytelling abilities with a friendly, engaging delivery
- Strong customer service orientation and intercultural communication skills
- English fluency; additional languages such as Spanish, French, or Portuguese are a plus
- Solid knowledge of local history, architecture, culture, and cuisine
- Reliable and flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions
- Valid work authorization and a positive team attitude
