Join a premium tourism brand delivering immersive cultural experiences in Cusco. We are seeking a charismatic Tour Guide fluent in English and Spanish with a deep knowledge of Inca history, architecture, and local customs. You will lead small to mid sized groups, ensure safety, and create memorable experiences through storytelling and authentic connections.
What you will do is bring sites like Machu Picchu, Sacsayhuaman, and the Sacred Valley to life with engaging narration, while accommodating diverse visitor needs and timelines. You will collaborate with local operators, transportation teams, and hospitality partners to deliver seamless itineraries.
Responsibility
- Lead and conduct informative and entertaining tours for groups of varying sizes
- Provide accurate historical commentary and culturally sensitive narratives
- Ensure safety, manage crowd flow, and enforce tour policies
- Coordinate with local partners to maintain smooth logistics and timely departures
- Adapt tours for accessibility, language needs, and pace
- Deliver personalized recommendations for dining, activities, and souvenirs
- Capture high quality customer service by resolving questions and issues on tour
- Maintain equipment and report any safety concerns
Qualification
- Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages a plus
- Excellent public speaking and storytelling abilities
- Proven customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of Peruvian history, culture, and UNESCO sites
- Valid tour guide license or permit as required by local regulations
- First aid certification and safety awareness
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina for walking and standing for long periods
