Aloha Horizons Travel is seeking a motivated Tourism Experience Specialist to elevate our guests' journeys in Hawaii. You will collaborate with local partners, design immersive itineraries, manage guest communications, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality and safety.
This role blends creative travel design with operational excellence to deliver memorable experiences for travelers from around the world.
Responsibility
- Design personalized itineraries and experiences for a diverse clientele, balancing time, budget, and preferences.
- Coordinate day-to-day tour operations, including booking, confirmations, transportation, and supplier relationships.
- Act as on-site host for tours and activities, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.
- Manage guest communications pre-, during, and post-travel; resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to upsell experiences and ensure consistency of brand voice.
- Track feedback, analyze data, and implement service improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Hawaii attractions, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years in travel, tours, or hospitality customer service.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (Japanese, Korean, Spanish) are a plus.
- Strong itinerary planning, vendor management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Google Workspace, and reservation platforms.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for Hawaii culture, sustainability, and guest satisfaction.
