Responsibility
- Safely operate and drive trailers in compliance with road traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report and address any safety concerns.
- Secure cargo using proper restraints and perform weight distribution checks.
- Plan efficient routes, monitor delivery schedules, and communicate delays to dispatch.
- Complete accurate documentation including logs, fuel, mileage, and delivery receipts.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance tasks; report defects promptly.
- Demonstrate safe driving practices and maintain a professional demeanor with customers and team.
- Adhere to safety policies and contribute to a culture of zero-accidents.
Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of trailer/truck driving experience or equivalent.
- Valid driving license for heavy vehicles in Malaysia (compliant with local regulations).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Knowledge of cargo handling, loading/unloading, and securement procedures.
- Ability to read maps, use GPS, and follow route plans.
- Physical fitness for loading/unloading and long hours on the road.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work in Shah Alam, Selangor and adhere to safety policies.
