Join J&T Cargo as a Training Executive focused on Logistics and Store Operations in Selangor. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver scalable training programs that elevate performance across our retail outlets and distribution centers. You will partner with Operations, HR, and Outlet Managers to identify learning needs, translate complex processes into practical curricula, and implement measurement frameworks that demonstrate real business impact.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on knowledge of store and warehouse workflows with a passion for developing people. You will create engaging content, including manuals, job aids, instructor-led modules, and e-learning resources, aligned with our safety, quality, and customer service standards. You will also lead onboarding for new hires and provide ongoing coaching to strengthen skills such as inventory control, order fulfillment, queue management, and safe procedures in fast-paced environments.

As a key member of the Training team, you will monitor training effectiveness through KPIs such as time-to-proficiency, retention rates, certification completion, and performance improvements. You will manage training schedules, coordinate with site leaders, and leverage our LMS and other learning tools to ensure consistent delivery across multiple locations in Malaysia. Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs for store operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics workflows.
  • Lead onboarding and ongoing training for new hires and existing staff across outlets, warehouses, and hubs in Selangor and nearby regions.
  • Create training materials, manuals, job aids, SOPs, and e-learning modules tailored to fast-paced retail and warehousing environments.
  • Conduct needs analysis, assess knowledge gaps, and implement practical solutions that align with business goals; update content as processes change.
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions, coaching, and performance support; partner with line managers to close skill gaps and improve productivity.
  • Monitor training effectiveness using KPIs (time-to-proficiency, exam/pass rates, certification completion); report insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; drive improvements in processes to reduce errors and incidents.
  • Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and utilization of LMS and learning tools; track attendance and maintain accurate records.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in training, learning and development, or operational roles within logistics or retail.
  • Solid knowledge of store operations and warehouse workflows; familiarity with WMS/TMS systems and inventory controls.
  • Strong instructional design skills with ability to develop engaging content and utilize LMS / e-learning tools; proficient with MS Office.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills; comfortable delivering to diverse audiences and across multiple locations.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to measure training impact and translate data into actionable improvements.
  • Project management, prioritization, and collaboration skills; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel between sites as needed and to support rollout across locations.
