Responsibility
- Safely operate company trucks to deliver chemical products to customers on assigned routes with a focus on on‑time performance.
- Plan routes in coordination with dispatch, optimize travel time, and maintain compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections; report and address any mechanical issues promptly; maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Load and unload cargo following safety protocols; ensure proper cargo securing to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel and mileage records, and complete delivery paperwork as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers; address inquiries, resolve delivery issues, and provide professional customer service.
- Adhere to all company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements related to transporting chemicals.
Qualification
- Valid professional driver’s license (heavy vehicle) and a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience; familiarity with Bulacan routes is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform pre‑trip/post‑trip inspections.
- Strong cargo securement skills and adherence to safety protocols, including basic spill prevention and safety awareness.
- Excellent time management, route planning, and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Good communication and customer service skills; able to work collaboratively with dispatch and customers.
- Physically capable of loading/unloading cargo and performing repetitive lifting; flexible to work additional hours if needed.
