As a Truck Driver with Petroplas, you will be a key link between suppliers, warehouses, and customers. Responsibility
- Safely operate company trucks in accordance with local laws and company policies.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Secure cargo properly, check weight limits, and prevent cargo damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel receipts, mileage, and trip reports.
- Communicate with customers and warehouse teams to provide delivery updates and handle special instructions.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and scheduling.
- Adhere to safety standards and road safety guidelines at all times.
Qualification
- Valid professional driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 1-3 years of truck driving experience, preferably in logistics or distribution.
- Strong knowledge of local roads around Laguna; proficient with GPS and route planning tools.
- Physical ability to load and unload cargo and handle heavy goods; comfortable with flexible hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent; safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
- Good communication and customer service skills; reliable and punctual.
- Wamiliarity with basic vehicle maintenance and preventive checks is a plus.
