Join Optum as a US Healthcare AR Collections Specialist and be responsible for managing contracts, unpaid claims, denials, AR collections, billing reconciliation, and resolution. This provider-side role is crucial in ensuring the financial health of the organization by optimizing revenue cycle processes.
Responsibility
- Manage and prioritize AR follow-up activities
- Review and resolve outstanding claims and denials
- Communicate with payers and providers to resolve billing issues
- Process refunds and adjustments as needed
- Compile reports on collections activities and AR aging
Qualification
- Previous experience in healthcare AR collections or medical billing
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and insurance processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare billing software
