We are seeking a versatile Video Producer who can shepherd projects from concept through delivery, collaborating with directors, editors, and clients to exceed expectations. As a Video Producer, you will manage schedules, budgets, on-set logistics, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely, high-quality results.
Responsibility
- Lead pre-production planning for assigned projects, including concept briefs, shot lists, production calendars, and risk assessments.
- Oversee production execution: scheduling, crew and vendor coordination, permits, on-set safety, and contingency planning.
- Manage project budgets, estimates, expense tracking, and vendor payments to ensure profitability and accountability.
- Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, and post-production teams to realize the creative vision from shoot to final cut.
- Coordinate client communication and deliverable management, ensuring milestones are met and feedback is incorporated.
- Source locations, talent, and equipment; negotiate rates while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Review rough cuts, assemble final deliverables, and oversee metadata, archiving, and asset management.
Qualification
- 3+ years of production experience in film, television, or branded video; experience leading projects end-to-end.
- Strong project management and budgeting skills with a track record of delivering on time and on budget.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable liaising with clients, directors, and crew.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro) and basic color/sound knowledge.
- On-set experience including crew coordination, permits, location scouting, and safety/regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Creative problem-solver with a collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
