About GlobalImpact Volunteers: We are a locally focused nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities through service and outreach. We’re seeking a motivated Volunteer Coordinator to lead and grow our volunteer network in Austin.
Your impact: You’ll recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers for events, coordinate with nonprofit partners, and help track impact metrics.

Responsibility
- Recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers for community programs and events
- Develop and manage volunteer schedules to meet program needs
- Coordinate training sessions and provide ongoing support to volunteers
- Collaborate with partner nonprofits and event organizers
- Maintain volunteer database and records, ensuring compliance
- Plan recognition initiatives to motivate and retain volunteers
- Assist with outreach and marketing materials to attract new volunteers
- Track metrics, report on program impact, and suggest process improvements
Qualification
- Passion for community service and volunteerism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in volunteer management or coordinating events (preferred)
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency with CRM or volunteer management software (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfort with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Basic data entry and reporting skills
