Adecco, on behalf of a premier Insurance client in Singapore, is seeking an experienced and visionary VP, Marketing Communications & Content. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping the brand narrative, elevating customer engagement, and driving revenue through compelling content and integrated campaigns.

In this role you will own the end-to-end strategy for marketing communications and content across channels, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, risk governance, and business objectives. You will lead a high-performing team of writers, editors, designers, and digital specialists, manage multi-million-dollar programs, and collaborate with Product, Sales, Compliance, and Digital Marketing to deliver consistent, compelling stories at every touchpoint.

Key elements of the role include developing the brand's external and internal communications strategy, overseeing media relations and PR activities, and crafting thought leadership that positions the organization as a trusted leader in the insurance space. You will drive integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, events, and content formats (whitepapers, case studies, blogs, videos), with a strong emphasis on data-driven optimization and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibility

  • Develop and lead the overall marketing communications and content strategy to strengthen brand positioning in the insurance sector.
  • Direct and grow a high-performing team of writers, editors, designers, and digital specialists.
  • Drive integrated campaigns across digital, media relations, events, thought leadership, and customer communications.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Compliance to ensure consistent, compliant, and business-aligned messaging.
  • Oversee content creation across formats: blogs, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and social content.
  • Lead media relations, PR strategy, and crisis communications planning to safeguard brand reputation.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and optimize campaigns through data-driven insights.
  • Manage external agencies and budgets to ensure quality, timing, and ROI.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in marketing communications, with leadership experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
  • Proven track record leading high-impact integrated campaigns and content programs at scale.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a strategic mindset.
