As a Warehouse Assistant, you will support a range of critical tasks that keep our supply chain moving smoothly. You will work closely with procurement, inventory control, and distribution teams to ensure products are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. You will operate our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and barcode scanners to maintain real-time inventory records, participate in routine cycle counts, and contribute to a clean, safe, and organized workplace. Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming stock; verify quantities against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment; ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and perform regular cycle counts.
- Load and unload goods, assist with material handling, and ensure proper storage of items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace; comply with safety policies and PPE requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, urgent orders, and stock issues.
- Assist with returns processing, damaged goods handling, and quality checks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes and efficiency.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy with experience using WMS and barcode scanning.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; good numeracy and organizational skills.
- Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks and lifting up to 25–30 kg with or without assistance.
- Excellent time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; reliable and punctual.
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and PPE usage; ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Familiarity with inventory control and order fulfillment processes is a plus.
