MCi Career Services is seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our East Region aviation support team. This contract/temporary role offers a 4-day work week, a competitive monthly salary of 2,100 to 2,700 SGD, and a valuable joining bonus. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will help ensure that goods are received, stored, and shipped accurately and safely. You will contribute to inventory accuracy, safety, and efficiency across all warehouse activities in support of aviation parts and materials. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily goals and deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers. This role offers clear pathways for development within a dynamic logistics environment.
Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments; verify quantities and condition against packing lists.
- Sort and store goods in designated locations with accurate labeling and stock codes.
- Prepare orders for dispatch; pick items, package securely, and prepare shipping documents.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (manual pallet jacks) and ensure safe operation; forklift certification is preferred but not required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; adhere to all safety policies and PPE requirements.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and aviation teams to coordinate timely deliveries and returns.
- Record discrepancies, update ERP/WMS systems, and communicate issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualification
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred; entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software; experience with ERP/WMS is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods; ability to lift up to 25 kg/55 lbs as required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork; reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to safety standards and willingness to follow SOPs and PPE guidelines.
- Eligibility for the schedule and location; ability to work the 4-day workweek as required.
