SwiftLogistics is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our Chicago distribution center. This hands-on role supports receiving, storage, and order fulfillment for a high-volume operation serving national retailers and e-commerce partners.

Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming goods using RF scanners and barcode systems.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control to maintain precise stock levels.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with safety policies.
- Load and unload shipments, stage goods for loading, and coordinate with carriers.
- Process shipping documents and update ERP/WMS systems to reflect inventory movement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support daily distribution operations.
Qualification
- 1-3 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
- Forklift certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and basic math skills; comfortable with technology (RF devices, computer systems).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; good communication and teamwork skills.
