As a Warehouse Clerk, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will coordinate with internal departments to verify documents, schedule shipments, and maintain real-time inventory records. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, physical readiness, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound shipments, preparing local deliveries and export loading, performing regular stock counts, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse. You will use our warehouse management system to capture transactions, generate picking lists, and support cycle counts. You’ll help ensure on-time deliveries, accurate stock levels, and seamless communication with drivers, suppliers, and colleagues across departments.
To succeed, you should be comfortable with basic computer tasks, able to lift moderate weights, and willing to follow safety procedures and standard operating protocols. Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments; verify quantities, conditions, and accompanying paperwork with internal teams.
- Prepare local deliveries and export shipments; coordinate with drivers, carriers, and scheduling to ensure timely dispatch.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels using the warehouse management system (WMS/ERP); perform regular cycle counts.
- Load and unload goods safely; organize storage with proper labeling, FIFO methods, and space optimization.
- Ensure proper shipping and receiving documentation; maintain accurate records and issue receipts or delivery notes.
- Collaborate with procurement, QA, and sales to resolve discrepancies and communicate status of orders.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized; report hazards and participate in safety trainings and audits.
Qualification
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse/logistics experience is preferred.
- Basic math, reading comprehension, and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP).
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand/walk for extended periods; comfortable performing repetitive tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
- Legal eligibility to work in Malaysia and ability to work local shifts or overtime as required.
