Job description

Join PERSOL as a Warehouse Operator in Commonwealth, Central Region, on a 6-month contract. This hands-on role supports daily inbound and outbound logistics operations for a dynamic distribution environment. You will be part of a dedicated team ensuring accurate inventory, timely order fulfillment, and safe, compliant warehouse practices.

Your work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6:15 pm, with occasional overtime as needed to meet business demands. In this role you will gain exposure to warehouse management processes, quality control, and collaborative cross-functional workflows with procurement, shipping, and customer service teams.

Key responsibilities include accurate goods receipt, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping activities; maintaining clean and organized storage areas; performing regular cycle counts and stock checks; updating inventory systems with precise data; and supporting loading dock operations and material handling. You will follow safety procedures and use warehouse equipment responsibly, while demonstrating attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

Responsibility

  • Perform inbound receiving, inspection, and put-away with accurate record-keeping.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch with precision and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in inventory reconciliation.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Update inventory systems (WMS/ERP) with timely and accurate data.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support on-time deliveries and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies; document and report issues promptly.

Qualification

  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred, but not required for highly motivated individuals.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25-30 kg and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory systems or ERP/WMS.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Reliability with a track record of good attendance and punctuality.
  • Safety-conscious mindset and knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
