Responsibility
- Supervise daily waste management operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Lead, train, and evaluate a team of waste handling professionals.
- Coordinate collection routes and scheduling for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain records of waste processing, safety incidents, and operational metrics.
- Implement and monitor safety and sustainability programs.
- Oversee facility equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Communicate effectively with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years’ supervisory experience within waste management or related industry.
- Strong understanding of EPA, OSHA, and local waste regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Comfortable with digital reporting and routing technologies.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
