Job description
Join ByteDance, a global technology leader, and contribute to a critical mission: ensuring a safe, respectful, and thriving platform for users and employees alike. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team safeguards community safety while supporting the wellbeing of our teams worldwide. This role focuses on developing and scaling wellbeing programs across APAC to foster a healthier, more resilient workforce.
As the Wellbeing Operations Manager for APAC within T&S, you will own the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of wellbeing programs across the region. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders—People & Culture, Legal, Compliance, Country Directors, and regional operations—to build scalable, outcome-driven initiatives that support mental health, work-life balance, and employee engagement while aligning with local regulations and ByteDance values.
Your role combines program management, data analytics, and thoughtful leadership. You will establish governance for wellbeing services, manage budgets and vendors, respond to emerging wellbeing risks, and drive effective communications. Your approach will be proactive, inclusive, and culturally aware, ensuring that teams in APAC feel supported and empowered to perform at their best in a fast-paced environment.
Key outcomes include improved employee wellbeing metrics, reduced burnout indicators, higher engagement scores, and a safer, more inclusive workplace. You will report to the Senior Director of Trust & Safety and work closely with regional HR and operations teams to scale best practices across multiple markets while maintaining our high standards for safety and customer trust.
